a pregnancy changed everything

A Pregnancy Test Changed My Life

Hello, my name is Brooklyn, and I wanted to take a moment to share just how wonderful every single person at AXIA is.

Here’s a little bit of my backstory. I was born with a structural problem in my bladder that affected my chances of ever getting pregnant. I struggled with fertility issues for six and a half years. Multiple specialists told my mom and me that I would likely never be able to get pregnant, and that if I ever did, it would probably require IVF.

So when March 29, 2025 came around, I wasn’t expecting anything different.

My period was three days late, which was unusual for me, so I headed to Walmart to pick up a pregnancy test. That’s when I saw the AXIA pregnancy testing and ultrasound bus. It was the very first time I had ever seen it, even though I found out the mobile unit parks at Walmart quite a lot. This was truly a God moment.

My husband was in the car with me, and I told him, “I’ll be right back.” Even then, I kept thinking there was no way I could be pregnant.

But I was.

Praise Jesus! I was pregnant!

Tears of joy ran down my face as wave after wave of emotion hit me: joy, shock, disbelief, and overwhelming gratitude. After years of waiting and praying, God had answered the prayers my husband and I had carried for so long.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11

When I told my husband, he felt the same flood of emotions.

That following Monday, I called AXIA and enrolled in the Building Blocks program.

Since then, every video I’ve watched has been helpful and encouraging. My mentor, Tonya, has been such a gift, and I truly look forward to meeting with her every other week. I also love the AXIA Shop. Being able to shop for baby items, maternity clothes, and essentials has meant so much during this season.

But more than anything, it’s the people.

Every single person at AXIA is genuine, kind, and a true blessing. They have hearts for serving others and showing love during such an important time in a woman’s life.

Looking back now, I don’t believe it was a coincidence that I saw that bus.

In a moment filled with uncertainty, God placed the right people in my path. AXIA provided more than just support during my pregnancy — they became part of a miracle my family had prayed for over many years.

I will forever be grateful for the love, encouragement, and kindness they showed me during one of the most special seasons of my life.

The services provided through AXIA are offered to clients free of charge due to the generous support of partners like you.

Would you prayerfully consider joining our partner team with a one-time or monthly donation? There are so many women needing support, and we want to be there for them.

The staff there at Axia showed my daughter love gave her encouragement and knowledge that she needed to have a successful pregnancy. They are doing Gods work ! The rewards program is amazing I feel like it’s a wonderful place to go to at any stage during pregnancy. I too am thankful that they were there for my daughter and my beautiful grandson as well!
