Here's a little bit of my backstory. I was born with a structural problem in my bladder that affected my chances of ever getting pregnant. I struggled with fertility issues for six and a half years. Multiple specialists told my mom and me that I would likely never be able to get pregnant, and that if I ever did, it would probably require IVF.
So when March 29, 2025 came around, I wasn’t expecting anything different.

Her name was Vanetta.
She grew up in a very difficult and trying home where she was emotionally and physically abused and even trafficked from a young age. Her escape was through drugs and addiction, and over time, that road led to four unplanned pregnancies.
During each pregnancy, she came to Living Alternatives for help.
