Fatherheart House Parents
This is a volunteer position for someone with a heart of compassion for moms who need stability, community, and support during their pregnancy. We’re blessed with a beautiful home on several acres and a team of loving volunteer staff who come alongside our residents — and we’re looking to add to that team.
The need in our community is real, and it’s not going anywhere. If you’ve ever felt called to walk alongside young moms in a season that can feel overwhelming and isolating, this might be worth a conversation.
Pregnancy Resource Center
Doing volunteer work for the Pregnancy Resource Center involves a relationship with the Lord, a heart for the lost, patience and love for girls who find themselves in a difficult situation. We welcome new volunteers at the center. Training is offered quarterly. Find out how you can volunteer.
Building Blocks
We are always in need of moms who would like to mentor other moms in how to take care of their kids and minister God’s love to them. No formal training is required. Specific volunteer training is offered. Your commitment could be a couple hours per week or more. Childcare is available.
Prayer Room
Our new AXIA Center on Baxter is equipped with a dedicated prayer room and we’d love to invite any Church group, family, or people in our community to come and pray in our prayer room for the conversations and ministry that happens at Living Alternatives.
Labor Grounds/ Volunteering
We’ve been blessed with some great properties to do ministry and we could always use your help to take care of our properties. Whether you’re a youth group, an individual, or a family, we’d love for you to help us clean, mow, sanitize, organize, etc. Just fill out the form if you’re interested and we’ll get in touch with you.
Great Expectations Birthing Classes
We are looking for certified doulas who would assist our clients with consultations and services. We are also looking for people who are interested in teaching childbirth education classes.
Mobile Center Volunteering
Doing volunteer work for the Mobile Center involves a relationship with the Lord, a heart for the lost, patience and love for girls who find themselves in a difficult situation. We need greeters, advocates (lay counselors), nurses, sonographers, drivers/security/dad mentors, and mobile pit crew. Simply fill out the form below to let us know you’d like to volunteer.
The Shop at Axia
The Shop, located in our Axia Center, offers a unique “earn and learn” program for our clients from various programs. By meeting with a mommy mentor and participating in different programs, clients earn points that they can use to receive essential items from The Shop. Childcare
We are happy to provide childcare for our AXIA Center clients while they are attending an appointment. This allows clients with small children the comfort of knowing their children are being cared for in a loving and thoughtful manner. We see childcare as another way we can minister the love of Jesus Christ to our clients and their families. We are looking for Godly women who have a few hours each week to love on our clients’ children.
